The Round Angled Tap Connectors is particularly useful if your tap has a long handle.

If your tap has a long handle (used to turn it on and off) that comes over the spout you will have difficulty tightening either the standard tap connectors or wide fitting tap connectors without spraying water everywhere.

For this style of tap you may find either the Round Angled Tap Connector (pictured on the left) particularly useful as it fastens on the side, away from the handle.

Emma carries one of these in her Doula bag as she finds these are wider than the Wide Fitting Round Connector. It can fit a spout with a width of up to 3cm.
